Precautions for Aquarium Landscaping
1.Select the place where the aquarium will be placed (where the sun will not shine, otherwise moss will grow), the ground should be flat, and there should be a power point. Install an extension strip with at least 4 sockets. Of course, be sure to clean the aquarium inside and out.
2. Paste the background paper or background board on the back of the aquarium. The color of the background board is best matched with the subsequent aquatic plants. Wash the sand, wash the dead wood and rocks, and put the filter material into the filter.
3. If there is a connecting pipe, it must be installed. Install the submersible motor, and the suction pipe mesh should be at least 5 cm from the bottom. Connect the lights and turn on the lights for 10-12 hours a day.
4. Mix the bottom sand and base fertilizer evenly, add 1000 grams of base fertilizer to 20 liters of sand. Spread the base sand with basal fertilizer and the remaining 50 liters of sand. Put driftwood or rocks in the aquarium. The vacated space needs to be planted with water plants for landscaping work.
5. Slowly pour water with suitable temperature into the aquarium along the wall of the tank. A piece of glass or a bowl can also be placed flat at the bottom to prevent the bottom sand from being washed away, and the water is filled to half the height.
6. When planting aquatic plants according to the configuration diagram, remember to cut off the rotten stems and leaves first, and trim the roots to one third of the original ones. Different aquatic plants need to consider growth factors such as light when planting. The most important part of aquarium landscaping is the addition of aquatic plants.
